Forest Felting

I am an impassioned fibre artist and the environment I work in provides endless inspiration.

Through my connection with nature I am able to create one of a kind clothing, objects and ‘paintings’ from wool, using one of the oldest textile making methods in the world – Felt Making.

I work with both wet and needle felting techniques and sometimes have items for sale – when I can bear to be parted from them myself! Current available pieces can be found at the bottom of this page. Commissions also welcome.

I also use my felt making skills within my forest school sessions, both at my own site and as a ‘visiting practitioner’ across the country. These can often be ‘curriculum linked’ as this is a heritage craft.

If you are interested in Felt Making or want to discuss items for sale or a felt making session with your school or group, please get in touch via the Contact page.
